It all started when…
I read William Lane Craig’s book On Guard. This was a real light-bulb moment for me—from thinking that science invalidated the arguments for the existence of God, I suddenly realised that modern cosmology actually provided evidence for the existence of God by affirming the second premise of the Kalam Cosmological Argument (for more on the KCA check out the idea blog page). After reading On Guard, I was eager to find out more and I researched Dr. Craig’s work on the internet where I found his website www.reasonablefaith.org and also discovered that he was on the faculty of Biola University. From there, I signed up to the Biola Apologetics Certificate program, but soon realised that I wanted to study in more detail and enrolled for the MA in Christian Apologetics. After two years of intensive study, I graduated in December 2018. Along the way, I was privileged to attend a three day seminar on the Atonement given by Dr. Craig in Atlanta and I also applied to be a Reasonable Faith Chapter Director and was approved in July 2018.
I have been running a Reasonable Faith Chapter in Farnham, Surrey but now that I have relocated to Swansea, my aim is to establish Reasonable Faith in South Wales.
